Manhattan, KS. –  Antonio Cooper, 45, of Manhattan has been arrested for aggravated kidnapping, aggravated battery, criminal possession of a weapon by a felon, and two counts each of criminal threat and aggravated assault in connection to a 2020 incident.

Officers responded to the 500 block of N. Manhattan Ave. in Manhattan on September 19, 2020, shortly before 4:00 p.m. to a 44-year-old female victim that had reported Cooper forced her into a car, and hit and threatened her with a gun.

Cooper was arrested on a warrant yesterday after being extradited to the Riley County Jail from the United States Penitentiary Facility in Florence, Colo.

Cooper remains confined in the Riley County Jail on a total bond of $105,000.
