As realignment nears completion, Ebert Construction will be closing the existing portion of Quarry Road in Geary County on Tuesday, Jan. 10 to begin eradication of the old road.
Residents may use the new roads including Goldfinch Drive and Quarry Road. Goldfinch Drive runs from the west end of Mockingbird Road north to K-57 in Geary County. The new portion of Quarry Road runs from the K-57/U.S. 77 junction to the existing Quarry Road.
The Mockingbird Road/U.S. 77 entrance is scheduled to close later this winter.
All project work is scheduled for completion in October 2023, weather permitting.
