Clay County, KS-

With all of the precincts now reporting, it may come down to the mail in ballots. Many races are too close to call, it may come down to the mailed ballots that had to be postmarked by election day and can arrive Monday and still be counted.

The unofficial results are as follows:

For Constitutional Amendment 1: Which authorizes the legislature to revoke or suspend an executive agency’s rules and regulations by a simple majority vote, 50% voters said yes, while 50% opposed.

For Constitutional Amendment 2: Requires the election of county sheriffs in counties that had not abolished the office as of January 2022 and provides that sheriffs may be recalled from office, 62% voters said yes, while 38% voted no.
