Washington, D.C. – U.S. Senator Roger Marshall was on FOX Business to discuss the energy crisis that is causing Americans to face record gas prices nationwide. The interview comes on the heels of Democrats blocking his Gas Price Relief Act, which prohibits the introduction of any new regulations that decrease U.S. energy production or increase gasoline prices. By getting government out of the way, domestic oil and gas production will increase and prices will drop. While you may click HERE or on the image below to watch his interview, Senator Marshall said in part,

“We all know the decrease supply of gasoline is on the back of Joe Biden’s policies. Every time he opens his mouth, every time the Secretary of Energy talks, they create uncertainty… What we need is a regulatory pause… that’s what my legislation does is to have a regulatory pause on anything that would slow down our oil and gas industry. That’s one of the big reasons why the oil and gas industry is afraid to do any type of more drilling is just because there is a mountain of regulations waiting for us and slowing down the process – same thing is happening with mining, same thing is happening with fertilizer…”

Last week, Senator Marshall introduced legislation to close a loophole created by the Biden Administration that allows financial transactions with Russia related to energy to be completed until December. Allowing these transactions to continue directly funds Putin’s unjustifiable war against Ukraine. Regarding the war in Ukraine and delayed U.S. sanctions on Russian energy Senator Marshall said in the above FOX Business interview with Larry Kudlow, “It looks like this White House wants to drag this [war in Ukraine] out. First of all he [Biden] is slow walking the ammunition and military aid over there and then he is delaying sanctions. Putin continues to export $1 billion of oil every day – so that’s giving him the power to run this war. Further evidence, the ruble is back up to prewar levels, interest rates are back to prewar levels, and their oil exports are back to prewar levels. Joe Biden is actually helping Russia.”
